DST Sponsor Enhances Team with Two Executive Hires

Capital Square Realty Advisors, LLC (CSRA), a commercial real estate (CRE) investment program sponsor specializing in Section 1031 exchanges and the Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) structure, recently announced the hiring of two property and asset management veterans.

Rick Burnett has joined CSRA as executive vice president, asset administration and for the role of associate vice president of asset administration, the company hired Jerry Conyers.

The new hires are tasked with overseeing a $250 million portfolio of healthcare, multifamily, retail, parking, and manufactured housing properties throughout 13 states.

“Burnett and Conyers have successfully managed billions of dollars of investment grade real estate through multiple real estate cycles. Their extensive management knowledge and expertise adds tremendous value to Capital Square’s DST/1031 exchange platform,” added Rogers.

Burnett, a holder of the Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Real Property Administrator (RPA®), and Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designations, has managed over $3 billion of CRE during his career which includes executive roles at Grubb & Ellis Company, USAA Realty Company, and Great Western Bank among others.

A 20-year veteran of CRE, Conyers has experience managing retail, office, medical office, and industrial buildings.  His resume includes positions with national real estate firms such as Kennedy Wilson, Trammell Crow, Legacy Partners, and Grubb & Ellis Company.
