Rick Vitale Lands a New Gig

Hartman Advisors, LLC and the Hartman Income REIT have seemingly lured an industry executive away from another real estate sponsor.

In a filing on February 11th, 2015, it was announced that Richard J. Vitale, CFA, resigned as President and Director of United Realty Trust Incorporated (URTI), a non-traded REIT, and as President of United Realty Advisors, LP, URTI’s advisor.

According to the filing, Vitale left “in order to explore another entrepreneurial opportunity.”

Today, February 17th, Vitale’s LinkedIn profile displays updated job information.

He is now President of Hartman Advisors, LLC and EVP Product Distribution for the Hartman Income REIT.

Vitale spent a year and a half with United Realty. Prior to that he was an EVP of Strategic Business Development for AEI Fund Management where he worked for almost 21 years. Vitale has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1999.
