SQN Asset Income Fund V Invests $1.4 Million

SQN Asset Income Fund V, L.P., a publicly registered non-traded equipment finance fund, has made three initial investments in assets totaling $1.4 million.

SQN AIF Fund V focuses on investing in assets and equipment that are considered business essential or core to a business or operation in industries spanning manufacturing, technology, agricultural, energy, environmental, medical and transportation. The $250 million offering consists of 25 million units priced at $10.00 each and recently broke escrow, as reported by The DI Wire last month.

Between October 6-21, the partnership funded the following:

A finance lease facility of $680,020 for Apple computers to a private preparatory school in New York City. The finance lease requires 39 monthly payments of $17,402 and is secured by ownership of the equipment.

A lease facility of $318,882 for 16 pizza ovens to five separate lessees that currently own and operate 205 Pizza Hut and Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US. Each lease has a 36-month term with various monthly payments and is secured by ownership of the equipment.

A finance lease of $357,020 for an assortment of school furniture and kitchen equipment to a charter school in Hudson, New Jersey. The finance lease requires 36 monthly payments of $11,647 with the first and last payments due in advance. The lease is secured by a first position lien against the equipment.
